Suhail Badar is self-taught artist with a knack for experimenting with various mediums and ideas. Born and raised in Dubai, he is now based in Mumbai, with his art works shipped worldwide to his clientele.At a very young age, he got hands on professional exposure to making building perspectives and free hand interior sketches, along with his own pursuits of other varying art forms. While he is  a qualified civil engineer and interior designer who is equally passionate about building real life structures, he has always experimented and used various techniques, right from pencil sketches to making building models, wood and stone carving, landscapes, etc. It was a kind of a spiritual revival or rather an exploration, sometime in 2015, where he started a journey towards Arabic calligraphy. He went on to  study the art of illumination or ‘tezhip’ , to further beautify the calligraphy, and moved  towards larger canvases and using abstraction as a key part of his expression . The process of the artworks he creates, is a deep and personal conversation, which translates to the final portrayal of the piece. He continues this constant search for experimentation and expressionism. Its a beautiful journey.............
